And the vicious circle carries on until every attack deals 20 armour dependent damage with minimal secondary effects.
By your own words, Cuilan has found the solution to permanently reversing power creep.

I'm sold.

So if Mark of Pain most superior nuke skill (take a look at the countless threads discussing necromancers and caster damage), how can it not be a target of a nerf? That does not make sense.

It's the ultimate nuke in regards to it's potential damage under the correct conditions.

However, consider the following details which have been brought up in this thread:

A) Due to being a single-target hex with a 20 second recharge, it requires AP to be utilized to it's full effect, because once the target dies, the hex goes bye bye.

B) It's AoE, and therefore causes scatter.

C) It's effectiveness relies on getting a lot of enemies to ball up on one person, which isn't always practical (or even desirable).

Also, keep in mind that being the superior option != being overpowered. It is possible for something to be the former but not the latter.

Think that's probably why some consider it overpowered now, yes. I have used it quite often, but not on speed clears or farming, and see no problem with it. I would say to get rid of the skill that is the bigger problem, but that is for another thread.

If the odd combination of hundred blades + whirlwind attack was changed MoP would have so much less potential as mobs will scatter to it fast.

Not really.
I seldom run MoP with HB Wars in my team.

Mobs tend not to scatter to MoP. What often happens is the target with MoP on them runs away. This is actually more annoying as it can cause one to miss AP*.

*Which is actually the more important issue.

It's funny because IA scatter when hit with MoP, making this AoE hex useless in PvE. No one would be stupid enough to get hit with it in PvP, either.. so it's kind of dumb overall to LOL nerf a LOL bad hex at all...

oh yea, and... LOL nerfing bad hexes.... pfffft

First screen was 1650 damage or so. This is just general PvE without the use of stupid tank ballers gimping the team.

I'm not saying it's overpowered, more like people should stop associating it with FoW

EDIT: That is both in the same fight, simply two activations of MoP. There were alot more like this until the boss died.
